What this is
vertexexpert is a builder and a set of guides for career documents. You pick a template, answer guided prompts, and export something you can actually send. Alongside the builder we publish plain-language explanations of how CV formats differ, what a job entry is for, and how a public profile relates to a targeted CV.
Who operates it
This website is operated by Digital Agency This is Marketing, Kurzova 2222/16, 155 00 Praha 13, Czechia. Our role is to build and maintain the tool and to keep the guidance accurate and honest.
What we believe about CVs
A CV is an argument, not a record. It is read quickly, usually twice: a scan for fit, then a slower read for evidence. Documents that survive both answer the reader’s question before it is asked. That is a structural property — the order of sections, the length of the summary, whether an entry states an outcome — and it does not require unusual achievements.
So the builder is opinionated on purpose. It asks what changed as a result of your work rather than what you were responsible for. It keeps one master copy so dates never drift between versions. It steers you toward figures you could explain aloud, because a claim you cannot defend is worse than no claim at all.
What we do not do
- We make no claims about whether you will be hired
- We do not invent achievements or figures for you
- We do not act as a recruiter or employment agency
- We do not sell your details to third parties
Audience
The content is written for an international, English-reading audience. Hiring conventions differ significantly by country, sector and seniority, so the guidance is deliberately general. Where local practice differs, local practice wins — and anything binding should be confirmed with the employer directly.
How this site is funded
Some outbound links may be sponsored and we may receive compensation when readers act on them. That funding does not change the guidance. Details are in our Advertising Disclaimer.
